Bring on the rain - by Deyse

Monica and Andrew watched as Natalie finally asked for her mother’s forgiveness and both ended up holding each other at the school party. The blond angel wrapped his arm around Monica’s shoulder and brought her closer to him, giving her a light squeeze. “Well, I guess everything ended well, after all!”

“Yes! Even Ben seems to understand that Natalie didn’t mean to hurt his feelings as well... I guess my initial plan to see them both together in 50 years will really succeed!”

“Yes... I guess all of our initial plans will succeed after all...”

The Irish angel looked at him slightly confused by his words, “What do you mean?”

Andrew smiled somewhat enigmatically and didn’t answer to her question immediately, which only increased her curiosity, “Andrew... is there something on your mind?” she asked, repeating the same question he had made at the beginning of their assignment, when they were observing Natalie and Ben kissing each other.

The blond angel bent his head and placed a tiny kiss on her lips. Then, he leaned over and whispered into her ear, “Come with me...”

“Where are we going?” she wanted to know, clearly enjoying the way he was conducting her to the exit.

“To a place I was eager to take you at the beginning of this assignment!” they were now in the garden, outside the school building, where there weren’t many people.

Monica tilted her head and, smiling cheerfully, stared at him, “Well, what place is this?” she asked, now burning with curiosity, causing Andrew to chuckle in amusement.

He stopped walking and took her other hand, “Now close your eyes...”

“Andrew!”

“Close your eyes, otherwise we won’t get out of here!”

Playfully, she rolled her eyes and finally closed them. A second later, she heard her dearest friend’s voice again, “You can open them now, Angel!”

When Monica opened her eyes, he turned her around so that she could face the view ahead of them: her mouth dropped open and she looked around her with a surprised expression on her face, “Andrew!”

“Welcome to Paris, sweetie!” he spoke again, wrapping his arms around her small shoulders and resting his chin on the top of her head, while she contemplated their surroundings.

“Oh, it’s beautiful!” she finally exclaimed, sighing with contentment. “And it’s also very romantic, you know...”

“Yes, it sure is. The perfect place to spend the whole afternoon with someone I happen to love very much!”

With a broad smile upon her face, she turned around in his arms to face him, “Thank you!”

The blond angel smiled and gently took some strands of hair off her face and then stroked her cheek tenderly and lovingly, “You’re more than welcome, baby.”

He wrapped his arms around her waist, while she threw her arms around his neck. Then, they inched their faces closer and shared a slow, loving kiss. After they pulled away, Andrew stroked her cheek again, “Come with me, I’ll take you for a walk and our first stop will be at a place I know you’ll love!”

“Which place is it?”

“A café, honey!” he kissed the tip of her nose, and as she heard that, her eyes grew wider and her mouth dropped open.

“Really?!”

“Yeah, where else could it be?”

“I love you, Andrew!” she said, placing soft tiny kisses on his face and lips. He inched closer to her ear and  whispered. “Je t’aime, mon ange!”

They shared another loving kiss and a tight hug, with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
