The priceless bride - by Deyse

Monica wrapped her arm around Andrew’s and took him away from the other 2 angels with a playful smile upon her beautiful face. “You certainly got the easiest part in this assignment and you shouldn’t go away without meeting aunt Meg...” she spoke, causing him to stare at her in disbelief.

“Easiest part?! I drove all the way up from New York to Washington DC and even had to face a snow storm to bring Jonas in time!”

“Aunt Meg can overcome than any snow storm!”

“Why am I under the impression that ‘aunt Meg’ isn’t such a fascinating person, huh?” he asked, looking at her and narrowing his eyes.

The Irish angel gazed back at him with a lovely smile upon her face, “I’m joking Andrew! I wouldn’t do this with a friend I love so much!” she replied, winking at him and causing him to smile.

“Well, that’s good, because this kinda romantic atmosphere made me wonder if a certain angel would like to dance...”

Monica turned her eyes to meet his loving gaze and took his proffered hand. “I’d love to!”

Then, he wrapped his other arm around her waist and smiled twice more as she rested her head over his shoulder.

“I missed dancing with you, you know...” Monica whispered.

“Me too, sweetie...” he gently kissed the top of her head and, lacing his fingers with hers, took her hand to rest above his heart, “But I guess the Father wanted to give us a present... some time alone so that we could catch up and bond and now we have all the night long!” he spoke, enjoying the lovely sound of her giggle.

The Irish angel sighed and they danced to the music during the rest of the evening, completely forgetting about everything around them.
